**Role**: Factory Supervisor
**Based in**: Mira Road, Mumbai / Work from Factory

**Work Timings**: 6 days a week from 9:00am to 6:00pm

**Reporting to**: Director

**Experience required**: 5 + years

**What do you need to do? (Role and Responsibilities)**

We are seeking an experienced Factory Supervisor to oversee production operations. Your responsibility will be to organise manufacturing workflows, train and supervise factory workers, handle onsite projects and maintain efficiency. Moreover, making sure that daily operations are optimised cost-effectively. The incumbent would have previously managed a medium-sized team and should have prior project management experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Recruit, train, organize and manage the day to day of factory staff
- Inventory management
- Administers company policies and guidelines
- Coordinate dispatch activity, update factory calendar, and maintain stock reports
- Ensure that production plans are completed as per committed timelines
- Handles all troubleshooting required for ongoing and completed projects
- Evaluates the condition of production equipment
- Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers
- Compiles and analyzes production records
- Ensure QC of incoming raw material and outgoing jobs.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Previous experience managing a shop floor
- Excellent coaching and communication skills
- Ability to track expenses and compile budget reports
- Broad knowledge of production planning processes
- Strategic planning skills
- Understanding of machine controls and instrumentation
- Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting

**Technical requirements of the role**:

- Knowledge of process improvement, budgeting and production standards
- At least 5 years of experience as a production supervisor
- The ability to head a team successfully and resolve issues relating to personnel quickly and efficiently
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Experience with production planning, controls and instrumentation
