- Editing the raw manuscript as per the instructions provided and make it error free.
- Checking the styles, punctuations, and spellings and ensuring the customer provided stylesheet is followed.
- Structuring and ordering of the files and raise author queries as required.
- Short tagging as per XML requirements and tagging of the index entries.
- References as per the style guide and footnotes, for technical accuracy and placement of citations.
- Ensuring all the elements (figures, text, boxes, tables etc.) are properly presented in the manuscript and consistent.
- Should have good written and spoken knowledge in English.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in style editing/pre-editing.
- Knowledge in style guides such as CMS and APA are preferred.
- Must have an eye for details.
- Experience in STM/Fiction/Non-fiction books are an added advantage.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
