**Avantas Construction** is seeking a passionate and talented **Architect Intern** to join our team. The intern will work alongside experienced architects and project managers, contributing to a range of residential and commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in architectural design, project coordination, and construction management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assist in Design Development**: Collaborate with the architectural team to create and refine design concepts for residential and commercial construction projects.
- **Prepare Architectural Drawings**: Use architectural software such as **AutoCAD**, **SketchUp**, or **Revit** to develop 2D and 3D drawings, floor plans, elevations, and sections.
- **Project Documentation**: Support in preparing project documentation, including site plans, construction details, and material specifications.
- **Site Visits and Inspections**: Participate in on-site visits to monitor project progress, ensuring that the design intent is followed during the construction phase.
- **Material Research**: Assist in researching and selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and construction techniques that meet the project’s design and budget requirements.
- **Collaboration with Stakeholders**: Work closely with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure that project designs meet client expectations and adhere to local building codes and standards.
- **Presentation Development**: Help in preparing presentations for clients, including renderings, mood boards, and project proposals.
- **Sustainability Initiatives**: Explore sustainable design solutions and integrate eco-friendly practices into architectural designs where possible.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Educational Background**: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
- **Technical Proficiency**: Proficiency in **AutoCAD**, **SketchUp**, **Revit**, **Photoshop**, or similar design and visualization software.
- **Creative Thinking**: Strong design sense with a passion for innovative and sustainable architecture.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings and project documentation.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with the design team, clients, and contractors.
- **Team Collaboration**: A team player who is eager to learn and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with **3D rendering** and visualization software such as **3ds Max** or **Lumion**.
- Basic knowledge of **sustainable architecture** and interest in green building practices.
- Familiarity with **local building codes and CMDA norms**.
