**Patient Care**: Responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. This includes conducting physical examinations, taking patient medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (such as electrocardiograms, echocardiograms, and stress tests), and formulating treatment plans.
- **Diagnosis and Treatment**: Cardiologists use their expertise to diagnose various cardiovascular conditions, such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
