Fiber Optic Technician

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Splicing and Installation**:

- Perform fusion splicing of fiber optic cables (single-mode and multi-mode).
- Install and terminate cables in various enclosures, including splice trays, ODFs, and joint closures.
- Follow technical specifications and guidelines to complete splicing tasks.
- **Testing and Troubleshooting**:

- Conduct testing using OTDR, power meters, and other testing tools to ensure cable continuity and quality.
- Diagnose and repair fiber optic faults or damages efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain detailed test reports and documentation.
- **Project Execution**:

- Collaborate with the project team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Ensure proper handling and management of materials, tools, and equipment.
- Work in both outdoor and indoor environments, including poles, trenches, and confined spaces.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Follow industry standards, safety guidelines, and company policies during fieldwork.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and legal regulations related to fiber optic installation.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Fiber Optic Splicer or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with fiber optic equipment, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
- Knowledge of network architecture and optical signal transmission.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Fiber Optic Technician - CFOT) are an advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
