**Job Description of Payroll Executive**
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Well versed in payroll activities of manufacturing sector.
- Must be well aware of legal requirements related to the leather manufacturing factory.
- Proficiency in maintaining daily attendance checking for 2000+ employees approximate which includes (Shift Details, Irregular Punching, On-duty, Out-pass Permission, Extra Hours, and Leave Permission).
- Maintain daily reports like Daily Strength, Present, Absent, Leave Permission, Late Coming, early leaving, Long Absent Details, previous day attendance checking and updates as well for all the employees.
- Monitor and update of all bio-metric machine related records.
- Responsible for generating accurate Muster Roll for all employees.
- Accurate report and record to be maintain of leave, permission, overtime for all employees as per the legal requirement.
- Accurate report and record to be prepared of all welfare funds, statutory benefits, income tax, loans and advances, incentives of the employees.
- Must be well aware of minimum wages update as per The Minimum Wages Act, 1948 and The Minimum Wages (Tamilnadu) Rules, 1953 and variable dearness allowance (VDA).
- Monthly salary preparation for all the employees and get approval from top management.
- New joined and left employee’s details update in factory maintained HRMS.
- Responsible for prepare accurate records monthly costing reports, bank statements, wage statements etc.
- Responsible for salary slip preparation, check, and distribution.
- Monitoring time record of all employees and keep printout for compliance purpose.
- Responsible for preparing yearly bonus of all workers based on the legal requirement and as per The Payment of Bonus Act, 1965.
- Responsible for maintaining records and preparing Leave with Wages (EL) as per The Factories Act of 1948, Section 79.
- Prepare accurate records for income tax and forward to the accounts department.
- Responsible for preparing of full and final settlement of all the employees.
- Responsible for arranging advances, loans for required employees.
- Must support the team for maintaining, preparing for social compliance audits from buyer and other verifications etc.
**Qualifications and Skills**
Any Bachelor’s Degree.
5+ years’ pure experience in payroll activities.
Strong knowledge of payroll and legal requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
