**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Translate high-quality content from English to Tamil, with a focus on preserving tone, context, and cultural relevance.
- Adapt expressions and idioms naturally to suit Tamil readers while staying true to the author’s voice.
- Collaborate with editors and writers to maintain consistency in style, terminology, and tone.
- Conduct language quality checks, proofreading, and editing to ensure grammatical and contextual accuracy.
- Provide suggestions for improving sentence flow, readability, and engagement in the Tamil version.
- Participate in review meetings (online/offline) for feedback and content discussions.
- Meet project deadlines and maintain clear communication with the project manager or author.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in translation, especially English to Tamil (experience in literary or book translation is a plus).
- Strong proficiency in written Tamil with excellent grammar, vocabulary, and a literary touch.
- Excellent command of English, with the ability to understand nuances and idiomatic expressions.
- Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and strong time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and collaborate remotely.
- Familiarity with Google Docs, MS Word, and basic document formatting.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Tamil, English Literature, Translation Studies, Journalism, or a related field.
- Prior experience translating books, articles, or creative content.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
