**Must have 2 to 5 years of experience in Purchase/procurement, with a focus on the solar industry.**

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Sourcing and Vendor Management:

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for solar components and materials.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and cultivate new partnerships.
- **Purchase Planning**:

- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand procurement requirements.
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to meet project timelines and cost objectives.
- **Cost Optimization**:

- Analyze market trends and pricing to optimize costs and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness in the procurement process.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Work closely with quality control teams to ensure that purchased materials meet required standards.
- Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions with suppliers.
- **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- **Negotiation and Contract Management**:

- Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Draft and review contracts, ensuring they align with organizational objectives.
- **Supplier Relationship Management**:

- Foster strong relationships with suppliers to promote collaboration and ensure reliability.
- Address any issues or concerns with suppliers in a timely and effective manner.
- **Market Research**:

- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies in the solar sector.
- Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on market research.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on the solar industry.
- Proven track record of successful negotiations and cost optimization in solar procurement.
- Strong knowledge of solar components, materials, and industry suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

**Salary**: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,812.53 per month
