Veritas’ Worldwide Field Operations (WFO) propels company growth by driving all aspects of new business and channel sales and includes global sales operations and global sales enablement for all new business and renewal sales.
- Part of a remote pre-sales engineer team, based in India, supporting the English speaking countries across Asia Pacific & Europe in Help desk perspective across the channel/non-named commercial market coverage
- Work on deals assigned to the sales team supported, prioritising effort based on maximising total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by the Pre-sales manager
- Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met & unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimise value for both the customer and the organization.
- Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer organization
- Adapts technical solutions, as necessary, to ensure alignment to customer needs & requirements
- Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements.
- Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s technical closure
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, and/or teams supported.
- Provides coaching and professional development to team-members in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills.
- Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within customer firms. Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities a re effectively covered and advanced.
- Able to conduct technical presentation, demo and proof-of-concept when required
Qualification:
4-7 years : Presales with hands-on experience on Backup & Recovery and Information management solutions required
Specific skillset on Veritas software solutions will be an added advantage.
