Job Description

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or equivalent.

Certification and Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).

Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a sports, youth, or entertainment environment. Desired: Exposure to major Sports events
- Design consistent, high-quality visual content aligned with the Somaiya's brand guidelines.
- Create identity systems for sports events, tournaments, leagues, and training programmes (logos, badges, backdrops, uniforms).
- Design engaging posts, stories, reels covers, and highlight icons for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Support marketing campaigns with promotional artwork, athlete spotlights, and festive greetings.
- Create posters, banners, backdrops, hoardings, certificates, and stage graphics, YouTube Live stream graphics for sports events and ancillary activities.
- Design scoreboards, event schedules, team lists, and signage for on-ground branding.
- Collaborate with the Social media and events team to create thumbnails, overlays, transitions, and motion graphics.
- Retouch photographs and edit Videos, select best visuals for campaigns, and contribute to design aesthetics.
- Work closely with coaches, event managers, social media teams and SSA management to gather briefs and deliver creatives on time.

Key Skills

Experience with Canva, Figma, or other design platforms for quick creatives.

Strong creative sense with attention to detail, typography, and layout.

Understanding of sports culture, youth preferences, and brand storytelling.

Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
