**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic **Assistant Professor in Chemistry** to join our engineering college faculty. The role involves teaching undergraduate students (B.E/B.Tech), guiding laboratory sessions, mentoring students, contributing to academic research, and participating in departmental and institutional development activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Teach **Engineering Chemistry** theory and laboratory courses to undergraduate students.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, and evaluation methods in alignment with the university curriculum.
- Conduct experiments, demonstrations, and practical sessions in the chemistry laboratory.
- Mentor and guide students in academic, research, and career development.
- Actively contribute to **curriculum design, syllabus revision, and academic innovations**.
- Support departmental activities including seminars, workshops, and student projects.
- Maintain proper records of student performance, attendance, and assessments.
- Participate in accreditation (NBA/NAAC) and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues on inter-departmental teaching, projects, and research initiatives.

- M.Sc. in Chemistry

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Excellent teaching, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle both theory and laboratory sessions effectively.
- Passion for mentoring and guiding students.
- Research orientation with ability to publish in reputed journals.
- Team player with collaborative and innovative mindset.
- Familiarity with modern teaching tools (ICT-enabled teaching, simulations, e-learning platforms).
