
Costing Officer

**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct cost analysis and prepare cost estimates for new and existing products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and information required for cost calculations.
- Monitor and analyze actual costs against budgeted costs, identifying and investigating any discrepancies or variances.
- Prepare and maintain cost report, providing management with insightful analysis and recommendations for cost optimization.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cost control measures and procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability.
- Conduct regular inventory audits, reconciling physical stock with system records and identifying any discrepancies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in costing methodologies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a Textile Industry.
- CMA Inter certification is mandatory.
- In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles and methodologies in a Textile environment.
- Proficient in using cost accounting software and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring precise cost calculations and reporting.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to management.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, prioritizing tasks effectively.
