**Job Overview**

**Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Curriculum Delivery**:

- Plan and deliver engaging history lessons in alignment with the curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans that encourage analytical thinking and historical inquiry.
- Utilize creative teaching methods to make history interactive and thought-provoking.

**Student Engagement and Development**:

- Foster an interest in history through discussions, debates, and projects.
- Guide students in analyzing historical sources, events, and their impact on the present.
- Identify and support individual learning needs to ensure student success.

**Assessment and Reporting**:

- Design, administer, and evaluate assignments, quizzes, and exams.
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress.

**Collaboration and Professional Development**:

- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and research in historical education.
- Participate in professional development programs and school initiatives.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- **Subject Expertise**: Strong understanding of historical events, perspectives, and analytical approaches.
- **Educational Background**: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in History with a B.Ed. (mandatory).
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
