**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and manage daily mechanical maintenance activities.
- Handle installation, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps, valves, motors, pipelines, and related machinery.
- Monitor and guide a team of mechanical technicians.
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, downtime, and spare parts usage.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Liaise with engineers, contractors, and other departments for smooth operations.

**Qualifications**:

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant supervisory or maintenance experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
- Basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel) and familiarity with maintenance logs.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret technical specifications.

**Preferred**:

- Experience in heavy industries like steel, power, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of local language (Odia) for effective team coordination.
- Safety training or certification is a plus.
