Creature Animation Artist

**Responsibilities**:
1. Create high-quality creature animations for various visual effects projects, including film, television.

2. Collaborate with the animation supervisor, directors, and other artists to ensure creature animations align with the project's artistic vision and technical requirements.

3. Work closely with the creature design and rigging teams to ensure optimal animation performance and functionality.

4. Develop and maintain efficient workflows for creature animation, including rigging, keyframing, and performance capture integration.

5. Participate in animation reviews, incorporate notes from the creative team, and iterate on creature animations as needed.

6. Research and study animal and creature locomotion, behavior, and anatomy to inform realistic and imaginative animations.

7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies related to creature animation.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's degree in Animation, Visual Effects, Fine Arts, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Creature Animator, preferably in the visual effects industry.

3. Strong understanding of animation principles, creature anatomy, and movement.

4. Proficiency in industry-standard animation software such as Blender (Preferable), Autodesk Maya or Houdini.

5. Experience with creature-specific rigging, keyframing, and performance capture integration.

6. Excellent artistic skills, including a keen eye for detail, timing, and composition.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take direction and work effectively in a team environment.

9. A diverse portfolio showcasing high-quality creature animations, demonstrating a strong grasp of creature anatomy, performance, and storytelling.

Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with motion capture data cleanup and integration for creatures.

2. Knowledge of creature design principles and experience collaborating with creature designers.

Pay: From ₹1.00 per month
