**Job Description: MBA Admission**/Education **Counselor**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Prospective Student Engagement**:

- Conduct informational sessions, webinars, and events to promote the MBA program.
- Provide detailed information on program structure, specializations, admission requirements, deadlines, and other key aspects.
- **Admissions Guidance**:

- **Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain relationships with prospective students, guiding them through each stage of the admissions process.
- Serve as a liaison between the admissions office and applicants, answering questions and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
- **Data Management & Reporting**:

- Report admissions progress and enrollment trends to the admissions team or program director.
- Use CRM systems and databases to maintain accurate records and ensure follow-ups are conducted efficiently.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the marketing team to align recruitment strategies with overall MBA program goals.
- Collaborate with faculty, alumni, and current students to showcase program success stories and enhance recruitment efforts.
- **Market Research & Trends**:

- Stay updated on market trends and competitor MBA programs to ensure competitive positioning.
- Conduct research to identify potential markets, events, and partnerships for recruitment purposes.
- **Event Coordination**:

- Organize and participate in MBA fairs, open houses, and other recruitment events.
- Represent the institution at external events and networking opportunities to increase visibility of the MBA program.
- **Admissions Evaluation**:

- Stay informed on program updates, admission policies, and student profiles to ensure accurate advising.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in admissions counseling, student recruitment, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of MBA program structures, admission processes, and business education trends.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and other admissions-related technologies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

**Key Skills**:

- Customer service orientation with a passion for helping students achieve their goals.
- Knowledge of market trends and recruitment strategies within higher education.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.

**Work Environment**: This position typically involves a mix of in-office and remote work, with potential travel for recruitment events. The role may also require evening or weekend hours to accommodate prospective students’ schedules.
