**Role**: SAP Performance Monitoring & Tuning**

**Desired Experience**: 4-6 years

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- On-Demand consulting for SAP performance.
- Deep technology root cause analysis and introduction of best practices for performance and operations at complex SAP HANA implementations
- SAP Performance Analysis and Optimization: Tuning for transactions, background services, and data throughput including root cause analysis
- SAP System Assessment: Analysis of errors and performance loss in the SAP system, the database, and the operating system
- SAP System Safeguarding Service: Designing and Monitoring of all relevant system performance KPIs during periods of intensive load
- Deep SQL statement analysis and query tuning expertise on SAP HANA.
- Optimizing Queries for SAP BW

**Technical Skills**:

- Deep understating of solution manager operations WRT performance monitoring and management.
- Good understanding of SAP workload management and memory management
- Well versed with performance tuning strategies specific to (SAP) Applications
- Should be able to analyze and troubleshoot expensive statements in HANA.
- Understanding of proactive data management techniques to improve overall performance of landscape.
- Well versed with HANA performance tuning strategies specific to (SAP) Applications and best practices for table partitions for ABAP based systems
- Analytical skills on Solution architecture and provide recommendations based on System performance optimization
- Experience in FRUN, Cloud ALM is an added advantage

**Solman Skills**:

- Strong experience in SAP Solution Manager, and specialization in Application Life Cycle
- Configuration of SAP Solution Manager.
- Experience in setting up and troubleshooting BPM.
- Skilled in System Monitoring, ICMON and PI Monitoring, solution documentation with knowledge of standard blueprint Import Best Practice.
- Production Support and resolution of Solution Manager issues on daily basis.
- Provides ideas for Automation and Innovation in areas of Solution Manager.

**Desired Skills**:

- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimum supervision.
- Acts as a mentor for the team members in the team in area of expertise
- Ability to collaborate with other team members working remotely from various locations.
- Must have strong technical foundation and strong problem-solving skills.
