Role Description:
Data science combines domain expertise, programming skills, and knowledge of mathematics and statistics to extract meaningful

**Role Responsibility**:
Developing complex mathematical models that integrate business rules and requirements
- Creating machine learning models
- Communicating and meeting with engineers, IT teams, and other interested parties
- Sharing complex ideas verbally and visually in anunderstandable manner with non-technical stakeholders
- Researching solutions to overcome data analytics challenges
- Communicate with all the project stakeholders on the project
- Working closely with business users during the testing andvalidating the Model

**Role Requirement**:
Education background in **applied mathematics or statistics** and
Advanced coursework in machine learning and programming
- Excellent understanding of **statistics, multivariable calculus,and linear algebra**
- Experience in in different programming languages such as **Python, R, Java, Ruby, Pig, SQL expert**
- Experience in working in one or more industries
- Experience with **data querying languages, and statistical or mathematical software**
- Experience in **different visualization techniques, data profiling and data validation**
- Experience in gathering requirements and documentation processes
- Sound aptitude, outstanding logical reasoning, and analytical skills
- Willingness to learn and take initiatives
- Ability to work with a diverse team and adapt to fast paced Agile environment
- **Additional Requirement**:
Have experience with the statistical analysis, predictive modelling, NLP, machine learning, hypothesis testing and good visualization
- Experience / working knowledge of Map Reduce solutions (Hadoop, HDFS, Yarn, Mahout, Pig, Hive, Spark) and conceptual modelling to be able to articulate the solution and model
- Having a good understanding of design and architecture principles
- Being able to work autonomously
- Assistance with project planning, estimating, approach definition
- Implementing QA and various testing in the project
- Mentoring / Training the team in all aspects of knowledge needed for the project
- Exposure to other BI tools (Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, BOBJ, Cognos) a plus

**Salary**: Up to ₹2,000,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
