Senior Executive-Auxiliary Nurse Pediatric provides care to newborn admitted and thereby rendering their knowledge in identifying the normalcy from abnormalcy.

**Position Responsibilities**:In addition to basic nursing care, responsibilities of Senior Executive-Auxiliary Nurse Pediatric include (but are not limited to):
Daily activities:

- Checks inventory (newborn wrappers) before every shift as per the responsibility allotted by Lead Nurse Specialist.
- Consults and coordinates with Guest Relation Executives and Junior/Senior Nurse executives for maintaining flow of information.
- Performs newborn rounds in the morning and takes handover from the outgoing staff regarding baby conditions in the floor.
- Collects information regarding morning blood sample collection i.e. blood bilirubin count, Guthrie test etc. as specified.
- Collects neonatal reports and pertinent data i.e. height, weight, abdominal circumference, before the arrival of Neonatal consultant for routine rounds.
- Provides Baby bath to the neonates and educates the parents regarding baby care.
- Attends Paediatric consultation rounds and carries forward the orders.
- Assists the Junior/ Senior Executive for performing baby care procedures till discharge.
- Dispatches the neonatal specimen to the laboratory for analysis after completion of the procedure and maintains records.
- Mentors Junior Executives for providing baby care.
- Performs life saving measures as and when required.
- Maintains supply of sterile equipments from CSSD for procedures performed in the assigned areas, by keeping in view the expiry.
- Performs Hearing test of the neonates after 24 hours of birth. Takes responsibility in maintaining the hearing instrument to the best of usage. Performs regular checks, cleaning and informs the Lead Nurse Specialist if it is malfunctioning.

Maintaining Newborn care registers with the reports of hearing test.

**Salary**: From ₹23,000.00 per month
