**Job Description - Naval Architect (Fresher / 1 Year Experience)**
**Position**: Naval Architect
**Experience**: Fresher - up to 1 year
**Location**: Kochi, Kerala
**Salary**: ₹17,000 per month
**Industry**: Shipbuilding / Ship Repair / Marine Engineering
**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in preparing ship design drawings, stability calculations, and structural plans under the guidance of senior naval architects.
- Support in hull form development, hydrostatics, resistance & propulsion calculations.
- Assist in reviewing ship repair drawings, modification work, and retrofitting projects.
- Work with the design team to prepare technical documentation, BOQs, and reports.
- Coordinate with production / workshop teams for design clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with class rules, safety standards, and marine regulations.
**Desired Skills**
- Basic knowledge of ship design, hydrostatics, stability, and structural analysis.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Rhino, or other ship design software (basic level).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced marine environment.
**Qualifications**
- B.Tech / B.E. in Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding, Ocean Engineering, or Marine Engineering.
- 0-1 year experience in shipyard, marine design office, or ship repair (fresher graduates also considered).
