**Position Summary**:
A **Market Research Intern** typically supports the market research team in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to help a company better understand its target audience, competition, and market trends.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Data Collection**:

- Assist in gathering market data from a range of primary and secondary sources, such as surveys, interviews, reports, and online databases.
- Contribute to the design and distribution of surveys and questionnaires.
- **Data Analysis**:

- Compile, clean, and analyze data using statistical tools, including Excel, SPSS, or R.
- Interpret quantitative and qualitative data to uncover market trends and consumer preferences.
- **Report Preparation**:

- Assist in creating reports, charts, and presentations to summarize research findings.
- Present insights to supervisors and stakeholders to support data-driven business strategies.
- **Competitor Analysis**:

- Monitor competitors’ activities, products, pricing, and positioning to assess the competitive landscape.
- Conduct comparative analyses to identify market gaps or opportunities.
- **Industry Research**:

- Investigate industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements that may impact the business.
- Maintain awareness of current market dynamics to offer informed recommendations.
- **Support Market Strategy**:

- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and business development teams to provide data-driven insights.
- Support the testing of new products or marketing strategies through focus groups or trial programs.
