As an Illustrator, you will be responsible for creating captivating and original illustrations that complement and enhance our published content. Your artistic skills and creative vision will play a crucial role in visually captivating our readers and bringing our stories to life. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and skilled Illustrator to contribute to the success of our publication house.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the editorial and design teams to understand the visual requirements for various projects.
- Create original and visually appealing illustrations that align with the content and target audience of our publications.
- Use traditional and digital artistic techniques to produce high-quality illustrations.
- Incorporate feedback from the team and make revisions as necessary to achieve the desired artistic vision.
- Ensure illustrations are delivered within the specified deadlines.
- Maintain a consistent artistic style and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new illustration techniques to continuously improve your skills.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as writers, designers, and art directors, to ensure a cohesive and visually appealing final product.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as an Illustrator, preferably in a publication house or related field.
- Proficiency in illustration software and tools, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other industry-standard software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of illustrations and artistic styles.
- Excellent drawing and sketching skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Solid understanding of composition, colour theory, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong time management and organisational skills to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
