Construction Supervisor (School Building Renovation and Extension)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Construction Supervisor to oversee the construction of an additional floor and extensive renovations across a 4-floor school building. The supervisor will be responsible for coordinating all construction activities while ensuring mínimal disruption to the ongoing school operations. The project will span approximately 6 to 8 months, and the role requires hands-on supervision, effective communication, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the construction of a new floor at the top of the existing school building and manage renovation work across the remaining four floors.
- Supervise all construction workers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is completed according to project plans and timelines.
- Ensure that construction activities are coordinated around ongoing school sessions to minimize disruptions and maintain a safe environment for students and staff.
- Monitor progress on a daily basis, ensuring quality standards are met in all construction and renovation work.
- Enforce compliance with safety protocols and building regulations at all times.
- Liaise regularly with school management, architects, engineers, and contractors to provide updates and resolve any issues or delays.
- Manage materials and supplies, ensuring they are ordered and delivered on time.
- Handle any unforeseen challenges promptly to keep the project on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, labor, and materials used.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor, preferably in projects involving building extensions and renovations.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, blueprints, and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a school environment where daily operations are ongoing, and sensitivity to minimizing disruptions is critical.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage workers, subcontractors, and school staff.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and adapt to changing circumstances during construction.
- Strong organizational skills to manage timelines and materials efficiently.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures on a construction site.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with building projects.
- Familiarity with local construction practices.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
