**Responsibilities**
- Theater Preparation & Management: Prepare and manage operation theaters, ensuring a sterile and safe environment for surgical procedures.
- Instrument Sterilization: Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Patient Positioning: Assist in positioning patients to ensure optimal conditions for surgery and enhance patient safety.
- Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate and maintain operation theater equipment, including surgical lights, monitors, and ventilators, ensuring they function correctly throughout procedures.
- Surgical Support: Provide essential tools and materials to the surgical team during procedures, facilitating smooth operations.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Monitor patients’ vital signs during surgery and assist anesthetists in managing anesthesia.
- Infection Control Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards to protect patient health.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and inventory management for instruments and supplies.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure efficient operations within the operating room.
**Preferred Education**
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Operation Theater Technology
