Job Purpose

Supports the Solution Owner by translating the business requirements to technical solutions and required implementations. Also defines required technical enablers to keep the solutions in good health

Job Responsibility

1) Actively give to professional and reliable technology delivery for business systems, platforms, and processes for business domain/function(s) in scope. Accountable to plan, define, and develop high-level designs for solutions.

2) Working with Enterprise Architects to align solution architecture with enterprise architecture standards. Actively give to on time, within budget, compliant, secure, and quality delivery of portfolio/ respective engagements.

3) Successfully communicate with the chosen SI Partner(s) and collaboratively strive to deliver business value. Contribute enterprise grade and innovative Solution Design & Architecture with improving re-usability, configurability and scalability.

4) Ensure top class and innovative engineering delivery, code management, automation and strive for highest efficiency. Supporting Project Managers in developing solution roadmaps, incl. evaluating change & run decisions

5) Ensure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing deploying new solutions and services. Ensure alignment to Security & Compliance policies and procedures as well as with other Sandoz guidelines and standards.

6) Working with Supplier Management to evaluate options for solutions and services ensuring external requirements and features are incorporated into solution designs.

**Education**:
1) Master of Science degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science or related field Certification in and/or experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies is a plus.

2) Certification or accreditation in enterprise architecture, The Open Group Architecture Foundation (TOGAF), or related certification is a plus.

Languages:
Proficient in written and spoken English.

Experience and Skills:
1) At least 5 years of experience in an IT organization, including in a role as a solution engineer.

2) Experience with organizational change through process engineering and/or participating in large-scale IT change / transformation programs


3) Experienced in guiding and developing teams across wide geographies & in collaborating with business and technical collaborators to align a strategic IT service portfolio with business needs.

4) Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills to present features and solution recommendations to senior stakeholders.

5) Data & Analytics Platform Solution Engineer Formula 1, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, SAP BI, QlikView.

6) Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.

7) Experience with hybrid cloud environments is a plus

Experience in product delivery and architecture, including as an Architect of enterprise solutions.
