**Job Title**: TGT Social Science Teacher

**Location**: Junagadh - Gujarat

**Position Type**: Full-Time

**Reports To**: Principal / Head of Department

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Lesson Planning and Delivery**:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and address students' diverse learning needs.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to enhance student understanding and engagement.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, discussions, and practical activities.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and exams to evaluate student progress and understanding.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on academic performance and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish and maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a respectful and focused classroom atmosphere.
- Address and resolve any behavioral issues in accordance with school policies.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the social science curriculum.
- Stay updated with current educational practices, curriculum changes, and advancements in the field of social sciences.
- **Student Support**:

- Identify and support students who require additional assistance or differentiated instruction.
- Encourage and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and provide insights on student progress and development.
- **Professional Development**:

- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Complete required paperwork and reports related to student progress, attendance, and behavior.
- Contribute to school-wide activities and initiatives, such as organizing events or participating in school committees.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- total work: 1 year (preferred)
