**About Organisation**: LEPRA Society is an organization working for people affected by Leprosy, lymphatic filariasis, TB, HIV/AIDS & other NTDs, Eye Care and governed by a board comprising of distinguished individuals from across India.
- **About the Project**: The SHAKTHI (Sustainable Health Approaches for Key Tribal Communities Health Interventions) project aims to reduce the burden of neglected and vector-borne diseases in tribal block Bakawand, Bastar through community-based prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and health system strengthening. Duration of project is for 3 Years.

**The position is for immediate employment**

**The Staff Nurse**will serve as a critical clinical support in the integrated screening program for communicable and vector borne diseases. Positioned at the Primary and Community Health Centres, the nurse will be responsible for confirming suspected cases, triaging, providing basic care, facilitating referrals, and ensuring linkages with government healthcare and welfare schemes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee clinical assessment and confirmation of suspected cases identified through community screening, particularly for-Leprosy, Lymphatic Filariasis, Scabies, TB, Malaria, Japanese Encephalitis and Sickel Cell Disease
- Conduct triaging to prioritize patient care based on severity.
- Provide basic clinical management and counseling at PHC/CHC level.
- Ensure timely referral and follow-up of cases requiring higher-level care or diagnostic confirmation.
- Facilitate linkage to relevant government schemes, including treatment, disability support, and social welfare.
- Maintain proper documentation, case records, and submit regular reports to the project team and government health authorities.
- Participate in outreach health camps, training sessions, and review meetings as needed.
- Coordinate with Community Health Workers (CHWs), Supervisors and government health staff to ensure continuum of care.

**Qualifications and Experience**: Minimum of Two years experience with GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from a recognized institute; registration with relevant State Nursing Council.

**Requirements**:

- clinical experience preferred (freshers may also be considered based on performance in screening). Working in rural or tribal areas and knowledge of local dialect will be an added advantage.
- Sound clinical, treatment and patient management skills. Familiarity with government health programs, referral systems, and social protection schemes. Strong communication, coordination, and record-keeping abilities

**Remuneration: Rs. 18,000/- (Gross) per month**
