At SAP Procurement Product Team, our mission is to provide the world’s leading cloud-based spend management solution, unifying the SAP Procurement portfolio across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba Applications & Business Network, and SAP Fieldglass.

To strengthen further our team, we are looking for an experienced cloud native architect to work with the leading cloud solutions in SAP Procurement Engineering teams

**Role**:
Defines solution architecture, evaluates architecture risks, estimates effort for business case / backlog, drives architecture alignment, and helps support architecture decisions

T
- ranslates business and product requirements into technical requirements, models and software architecture

R
- esponsible for defining the product architecture in alignment with other architects, the scrum team(s). Drives alignment of architecture concepts and ensures documentation in architecture concept document(s).

I
- dentifies opportunities for reuse of architecture concepts or software parts and cross-team synergies

A
- ligns architecture with stakeholders regarding architectural or technical dependencies

S
- upports and advices Product Owner(s) by ensuring technical and architectural feasibility, readiness and compliance

C
- oaches, advices and monitors scrum team(s) on all aspects which have impact on the architecture, reviews design documents of implementation teams regarding compliance with ACD and relevant product line guideline

I
- mplement software parts, typically related to infrastructure or architecture

S
- hould mentor and guide junior members and create a conducive environment for others to grow technically.

**ole Requirements**:
A
- round 10 years of relevant SAP experience and experience in Cloud native solutions

A
- s a Development Architect, lead architecture and technical topics for the teams and provide architectural / design clarity to the teams

E
- xperience leading in being part of a large-scale software development projects distributed across geographical locations and proven track record in architecture related position

R

E
- xpert proficiency in Node.js

E
- xpertise in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Web Technologies and handling of data structures, SQL scripts would be a plus

P
- roficiency in UI technologies: JavaScript (runtime environment Node.js), Angular JS / CSS / SAPUI5

E
- xperience and understanding of micro services architecture

E
- xperience in Procurement solutions would be a plus

E
- xperience with CI/CD Tooling and software delivery and bundling mechanisms

E
- xperience with version control tools such as Git, Github
