**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Debt Collection**:

- Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers to secure timely payments.
- **Account Management**:

- Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments.
- Review and update account status records and ensure accurate documentation.
- **Dispute Resolution**:

- Address and resolve customer billing issues and disputes.
- Investigate discrepancies and collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment issues.
- **Reporting**:

- Prepare regular reports on collection activities, outstanding accounts, and payment status.
- Provide management with updates on key metrics and delinquent accounts.
- **Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations related to debt collection.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of customer information.
- **Customer Relations**:

- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to facilitate successful collections.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support during the collection process.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Previous experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a similar role preferred.
- Familiarity with debt collection laws and regulations.
- **Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- **Other Requirements**:

- Ability to handle difficult conversations and remain professional under pressure.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Work Environment**:

- Office setting with standard business hours.
- May require occasional overtime during peak collection periods.
