Associate Editor,
Are you looking to work with a close-knit team, learn more about and be a part of the publishing industry, and help produce high-quality fiction and nonfiction for the Latter-day Saint market?
- Manage workflow to meet publishing deadlines
- Copyedit manuscripts as requested by the editors
- Edit and submit backliners to the Product Information Management (PIM) system
- Proofread all manuscript galleys as requested by the full-time editors
- Assist with 4-corner checks before manuscripts are finalized for press
- As time allows, assist with submissions: review manuscripts, assess their quality, provide feedback in manuscript prereview meetings
- Other projects as assigned (e.g., proofread catalog copy, design materials, and Sweet Salt product copy and source-check manuscripts)

Skillset
- Thorough familiarity with The Chicago Manual of Style and ability to quickly become familiar with the Church Style Guide and Covenant House Style Guide
- Ability to learn quickly and keep editorial skills current
- Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- Adobe InDesign (preferred but not required) and Acrobat
- Attention to detail and a good eye for quality writing
- Organized and proactive, able to work well and communicate with others

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
