Science Teacher

Ek Tara is seeking a passionate and driven Full time Science teacher(Physics, Chemistry) who will be responsible for instructing students while adhering to the school's curriculum guidelines, preparing lesson plans, grading assignments, and communicating with parents and school administrators, maintaining a safe and welcoming educational environment, providing emotional and academic support to students, and leading extracurricular activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create a well-prepared science curriculum(Physics & Chemistry) that promotes active learning and independence.
- Present science materials and lessons effectively, adapting to the unique needs and interests of each child.
- Observe and document children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and school administrators.
- Foster a sense of community and respect within the classroom, encouraging cooperation and social development.
- Engage in professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest science education specializing in Physics & Chemistry techniques and philosophies.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in English, Hindi and Bengali.
- Bachelor's/Master degree in Physics, Chemistry. B.Ed(Physics, Chemistry) will be an added advantage.
- Relevant certifications and training in teaching methodologies and techniques.
- Experience teaching students at various grade levels and with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Commitment to student academic success and personal development.

**Salary**: As per industry standards

**Timings**:8:45am to 5.30 pm(Mon-Fr), Sat(10 a.m-3 p.m.)

**Experience: Minimum 2 years in teaching Physics, Chemistry upto Grade 10.**

Should be based within Kolkata during the project.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
