Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a US Tax Preparer located in Ahmedabad. The US Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, providing tax advice, and maintaining client relationships. Responsible for Federal and State income tax return preparation for individuals (Form 1040) and business entities, namely C-Corporation (Form 1120), Partnership (Form 1065) and Trusts. Completes work papers and tax return in compliance with legislation and regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

1) Preparation of Federal and State returns for individuals and business entities (1040, 1065 and 1120, 1120S)

2) Preparation of work papers to tie to tax return

3) Preparation of book to tax income reconciliation

4) Preparation of state apportionment for state returns

5) Skillful at learning new concepts quickly, and communicating ideas clearly and effectively

6) Results-driven, prioritize the work and manage projects under aggressive timelines

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in US Tax Preparation
- Strong knowledge of US Tax laws and regulations
- Working knowledge of tax preparation software, mainly Drake
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills

Pay: ₹14,911.53 - ₹67,604.34 per month
