**Job Description** Prime Function**:
- To assist the Team Leader Accounts Payable and Director of Finance, in efficient and timely collection of Payables, by providing a reliable and accurate documentation and record keeping.
- Follow established procedures for processing receipts, cash etc.
- Assist the F&B Controller for all the reports
- To assist F&B Controller with operation of Cost Control, Store rooms and Receiving and to assist Management in keeping the cost of food, beverage and other supplies to the minimum
- Any matter which may affect the interests of **Novotel Ibis Chennai OMR**should be brought to the attention of the Management.

- ** Key Responsibilities**:

People Management_**
- Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of the hotel to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, and guest service.
- Respond to queries, by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all personnel are kept well informed of department’s objectives and policies.

Financial Management_**
- Assist in the determination of fiscal requirements and the compilation of budgetary recommendations.
- Identify optimal, cost effective use of the resources and educate the team on the same.
- **_
Operational Management_**
- Supervise, coordinate and participate in accounting tasks to settle guest accounts receivable in accordance to the credit policy.
- Assist in approving various transactions including refunds, ability-to-pay allowances, discounts and write-offs.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis, setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions
- Carry out all Food and Beverage inventories.
- Assist the F&B Controller in all cost related accounts for Food and Beverages.

Hygiene / Personal safety / Environment**:
- Ensures that the workplace and storage areas remain clean and tidy
- Respects the instructions and safety guidelines for the equipment (s)he uses
- Applies the hotel's security regulations (in case of fire etc)
- Respects the hotel's commitments to the "Environment Charter" (saving energy, recycling, sorting waste etc).
**Qualifications**
- 1-2 years of experience in developing sales and service relationships is ideal.
- Demonstrated ability to build and develop professional relationships.
- Confident user of Microsoft 360 - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Skillful at listening, understanding and communicating effectively.
**Additional Information**
experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
