Assist in developing design concepts, schematic drawings, and preliminary layouts for various project types.
- Create study models, renderings, and presentation materials using both digital tools and traditional methods.
- Support senior architects in design research and precedent studies.
- Develop floor plans, and detailed drawings for residential, commercial, and institutional projects.
- Prepare construction drawings, details, and specifications under supervision.
- Assist in creating floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using CAD software and Sketch Up platforms.
- Create furniture layouts, lighting plans, and finish schedules.
- Prepare design presentations, mood boards, and material palettes for client review.
- Attend client meetings to understand their vision, requirements, and budget constraints.
- Present design concepts and revisions based on client feedback.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and team members on project-related tasks.
- Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Stay current with industry trends, sustainable materials, and emerging technologies.
- Work closely with contractors, engineers, and other design professionals throughout the construction process.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design intent is maintained.
- Address any design-related issues that arise during construction.
