**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Graduate/Diploma in Engineering Mech or Civil
- 1-3 years+ of relevant experience in purchase/procurement for engineering or environmental projects.
- Experience in water/wastewater/STP/ETP project materials is preferred.

**Job Purpose**:
To efficiently manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for STP/ETP projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness in line with project requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Procurement Activities**:

- Source and procure mechanical, electrical, civil, and instrumentation items required for STP/ETP projects.
- Float RFQs (Request for Quotation), evaluate offers, and negotiate with vendors.
- Release purchase orders in accordance with company policies and project budgets.

**2. Vendor Management**:

- Identify and develop reliable vendors for STP/ETP-related equipment (e.g., blowers, pumps, diffusers, clarifiers, dosing systems, etc.).
- Maintain updated vendor records including price lists, lead times, and quality ratings.
- Conduct vendor evaluations based on delivery, quality, and service performance.

**3. Coordination & Follow-Up**:

- Coordinate with design, project, and warehouse teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays or issues.
- Track and update purchase and delivery status in ERP or procurement systems.

**4. Documentation & Compliance**:

- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and inspection reports.
- Ensure all procured materials meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Support internal and external audits with procurement documentation.

**5. Cost & Inventory Control**:

- Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to optimize cost.
- Assist in controlling inventory levels by managing purchase frequency and quantity.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Good knowledge of STP/ETP equipment and vendor landscape.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP/Tally/Oracle), and documentation.
- Attention to detail and time management.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
