**Summary**:
SAP Data archiving consultant should have at least 4 years of experience with exposure to SAP Landscape, SAP & OpenText co-innovative product portfolio with focus on SAP Archiving & Document access, SAP Data archiving, SAP Data analysis, Doculink and other SAP OT-ADA related components.
- Archiving Analysis: Co-ordinate with the technical & business teams to determine potential archiving objects, associated tables, Impact of archiving, requirement clarification development and testing.
- Archiving configuration & creating functional & technical design document, configuration, executing test scripts and technical development.
- Implement Archiving for ECC, BW / BI,CRM, Suite on HANA & S4 HANA business environments.
- Ability to perform a thorough data distribution analysis, ability to provide solution to delete Master/transactional data while retaining access to historical / Archived data.
- Recommends, develops, writes, and communicates business requirements for the design and implementation of archiving solution & strategy.
- Defines test plans and system documentation to monitor testing for the implementation
- Analyses and tests SAP software in order to determine functional compatibility and integration issues
- Conducts testing of system to ensure software meets process owners’ specifications
- Implements integration plans; Interfaces with cross
- functional teams to incorporate plans into integration testing process.
- Experience with Archive Development Kit ( ADK), DaRT, SARA, SARI, AIS tools to perform the archiving/deletion of historical data.
- Experience with SAP DaRT, SAP DART audit data retrieval, DART Extracts/Views.
- Experience with Document Archiving, Document management system etc.
- Experience with Data Cleansing, Data Summarization, Data Avoidance, Data Migration solutions with respect to HANA migration projects.
- Experience providing recommendations for data and document regulatory compliance
requirements.
- Experience in Tcodes like TAANA, SARA, SARI, DB15 etc.
- Strong experience in implementing SAP Archiving such as custom archiving objects, ILM, Data archiving & Doculink, DaRT and OpenText (IXOS) and legacy systems decommissioning scenarios.
- Experience in leading/conducting workshops with stakeholders for data archiving, deletion approaches.
- Work closely with project managers to deliver projects on time and budget.

**Primary Skill**:

- Ability to define systems requirements, design and prototype the SAP Archiving Modified Brown Strategy, test complex functionality and train others.
- Ability to implement practical business solutions under strict deadlines.

- excellent verbal and written communication skills, End to end implementation experience on SAP Archiving is required.
- Good understanding of Archivelink, ILM, OT ADA, SAP ADK is mandatory
- Good knowledge of the overall SAP landscape, FI CO, MM, SD, BASIS
- Strong experience in SAP ILM data archiving processes and configuration along with wide cross functional expertise.

**Secondary Skill**:

- Should be able to prepare archiving statistics.
- Should be good in analysing archiving issues in SAP system.
- Should be strong in scheduling and monitoring archiving jobs.
