Rigging Artist

Create skeletons (bones) for 3D characters.
- Define joint hierarchies for proper movement.
- Set up control rigs to manipulate character movements, facial expressions, and deformations.
- Rig inanimate objects or props for animation.
- Associate the character's mesh with the skeleton using skinning techniques.
- Assign weights to vertices to control how they move with the skeleton, ensuring smooth deformations.
- Create facial blend shapes or morph targets to control facial expressions and emotions in characters.
- Implement Inverse Kinematics (IK) and Forward Kinematics (FK) systems for character limbs, allowing for more natural movement control.
- Use scripting languages like Python or specialized rigging tools to automate repetitive tasks and enhance the rigging process.
- Ensure that rigs are functional, efficient, and meet the requirements of animators and directors.
- Perform rig testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate closely with animators, modelers, and other team members to understand their requirements and provide support as needed.
- Create documentation for rigs, including guidelines for animators and technical notes for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest rigging techniques, software, and industry trends to improve skills and workflow efficiency.
- Solve complex rigging challenges, such as rigging characters with unusual anatomy or designing rigs for unique and creative animations.
- Integrate rigs into the overall animation pipeline, ensuring compatibility with animation software and workflows.
**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
