**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated **Agronomist** to oversee and optimize the company’s farm operations across **Nandurbar, Jalgaon, and Nashik Districts**. Based at **Ravalgaon**, the agronomist will work to enhance crop yields, ensure sustainability, and deliver high-quality aromatic crops for specialty ingredients. The role includes developing innovative agricultural projects, conducting soil sampling, and generating regular analytical reports.
**Key Responsibilities:Farm Operations and Management**
- Supervise day-to-day farming activities across the company’s farms in Nandurbar, Jalgaon, and Nashik Districts.
- Ensure best practices in cultivation, irrigation, pest management, and harvesting of crops.
- Monitor and manage crop health, yield optimization, and quality assurance.
- Train farm staff and local farmers in sustainable farming techniques and regenerative agricultural practices.
**Research and Innovation**
- Develop and implement innovative agricultural projects aligned with the company’s goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to introduce modern techniques, including zero-waste practices.
- Identify opportunities to expand crop varieties and improve overall farm productivity.
**Soil Sampling and Analysis**
- Conduct regular soil sampling and testing to monitor soil health and nutrient levels.
- Analyze results and recommend strategies for soil improvement and fertility management.
- Maintain detailed records of soil and crop data for reporting and decision-making.
**Reporting and Documentation**
- Generate regular reports on farm operations, project progress, and soil analysis.
- Document farming practices and maintain compliance with company standards.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on field data and insights.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in farm management, agronomy, or related roles (experience in aromatic crops is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of soil science, crop management, and sustainable farming practices.
- Proficiency in data collection, soil analysis, and report generation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with farmers and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple farms and work in a field-oriented role.
