We are clearly differentiated in the data & analytics space via our suite of solutions, accelerators, frameworks, and thought leadership. - We are hiring for the role of Functional Tester to join our team at **DataEconomy**. - Role: Functional Tester - Qualification: BTech/MTech/MCA - Job Location: Hyderabad/Pune - Experience: 4+ years - Work Mode: Hybrid Roles & Responsibilities: - Conduct API testing to validate functionality, performance, reliability, and security of RESTful and SOAP APIs. - Perform database testing including validation of data integrity, data manipulation, and SQL queries optimization. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand project requirements and ensure adequate test coverage. - Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution, ensuring thorough documentation and communication throughout the testing process. - Participate in test automation efforts to enhance test efficiency and coverage, utilizing tools like Selenium, Postman, or similar. **Requirements**: **Required Skills**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. - 4+ years of proven experience as a Functional Tester with a focus on API testing and database testing. - Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar. - Proficiency in writing SQL queries and conducting database testing using tools like MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server. - Solid understanding of banking domain concepts, including financial transactions, security protocols, and regulatory compliance. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely. **Benefits**: - Company Standard Benefits.
