1. Understanding of drawings & fabrication experience

2. Able to carry out any work on Lathe machines

**Job Responsibility**:
1. Operators typically specialize in a particular area, such as heavy equipment or production machinery.

2. They can inspect the lathe machine and fix it as necessary.

3. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning operation of lathe machine

4. Troubleshoot & resolve any issues with lathe machine

5. Monitor the machining process for quality control and precision

6. Train & mentor junior lathe operators
