**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in implementing statistical analysis, classification models, and regression techniques for analyzing space-based data
- Contribute to the development and deployment of machine learning models to classify space-based events and predict space object trajectories and behaviours
- Support the creation of evaluation frameworks to assess the performance of classification and regression models
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate machine learning solutions into the Space-MAPTM platform

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, AI/ML, Mathematics, or a related field
- Basic understanding of descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, and machine learning concepts
- Familiarity with Python for data analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute to technical discussions

**Preferred Qualities**:

- Prior exposure to Python packages for data analysis.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and experience with relevant libraries.
- Interest in learning about parallel programming and version control systems.

**General Requirements**:

- Passion for contributing to team success and personal development.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Willingness to occasionally travel as required.
