**JOb Responsibilities**:
Cloud Architect owns the architectural decisions for the team. They values simplicity and is not afraid to challenge technical constraints and procedures to achieve Agile design. The Cloud Architect works closely with the rest of the team to create a modular and scalable solution that addresses future architectural changes and designs. This person will drive team engineering practices in test driven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment. A good architect “rolls his/her sleeves” from time to time and actively helps the team to solve the biggest problems. Finally, this individual is an executor as well as the visionary force behind the technical solution.
- Design the overall technological architecture of the product
- Guide project teams on technology strategy
- Responsible for the technical design of the product
- Mentor and coach the technical team, specifically with code reviews
- Be hands on and engage in coding to help the team to develop the solution and solve all surfacing problems at hand, identifies and removes technical impediments
- Work to align the roadmap with all strengths and opportunities within the technical stack
- Constantly looking for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo
- Provide the team a roadmap for implementing software engineering practices for higher code quality
- Share responsibility with Product Owner for building reusable and scalable components

**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- 4+ years demonstrating a high degree of proficiency in architecting complex, high-quality
cloud solutions
- Seen as an expert within the technical components of the domains/products/journeys
- Seasoned developer or technical lead with deep insight into newest technologies and trends
- Can make architecture decisions at a team and product level
- Experience working on projects that span multiple organizations and business units
- Experience working with SAP, SFDC and on-premise process control systems a plus
- Experience in Agile Development, with specific Enterprise Architect (or similar) experience preferred
- Understand relationship with Product Owner, Scrum Master, and the rest of the technical team
- Experience managing technical priorities within the backlog
- Strong communication skills with ability to align organization on complex technical decisions
- Active coach and mentor whose goal is to grow and maximize the team’s potential
- Cloud architect certification for the relevant public cloud platform(s)
- Expertise in architecture patterns, approaches and technical diagrams relevant for cloud and modern IT
- High energy and passionate individual who inspires teammates to reach their maximum potential
- Excited about trying new solutions outside standard approved
- Embraces a culture of trust and complete transparency
- Promotes free thought - is energized by ideas from others in team
