Welding Inspector- Asnt

v Inspection of Structural and Piping welding in fabrication and erection of Refinery piping & Power piping components involving materials such as carbon steel, Alloy steel, stainless steel,HDPE,GRP etc.
- v Monitoring of quality parameter as approved WPS/PQR, Inspection test plan during execution of job.
- v Conducting qualification of welders and maintaining their continuity records.
- v Receiving and Reviewing piping isometrics, support drawings and details; Interpreting the Drawings, codes, Standards and Documents (Information regarding what, when, where and how the inspection is to be performed.
- v Reviewing the applicable instruments for inspection with valid calibration certificates.
- v Check incoming material like pipe/plate and welding consumable certificates, storage and conditions.
- v Inspecting Material specifications based on the Isometric Drawing specification, verifying whether the joint fit-ups are prepared according to approved procedures.
- v Witnessing of fit -up.
- v Check the correct pre-welding and In-process distortion control.
- v Monitoring of welding activities of sub-contractors piping and welding work.
- v Carry out visual inspection of the weld joint.
- v Preparation of NDT request and co-ordination with NDT sub-contractor.
- v Confirm repairs, re-testing and re-inspection in accordance with specifications.
- v Monitor Post weld heat treatment (Heating method & temperature record system).
- v Review of weld summary and clearing of test packages for Hydro Testing.
- v Witnessing Hydro testing.
- v Co-ordination, Request for Client Inspection at stages.
- v Preparation of punch-list after line walkthrough with client and verification of punch-list completion.
- v Logging of Non-conformities reports and controlling it with the proper Corrective / preventive actions to rectify it,
- v Familiar with welding processes SMAW, GTAW, and SAW.
- v Coordination with Client/its Representative /Third party inspectorate / ASME Authorized inspector / Suppliers for inspection requirements of the project.
- v Submission of all inspection reports and to all related documents to the QC department.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
