- : PROFILE SNAPSHOT Professional with over 15-18 years of experience in Export/Import operations, Logistics Function, planning & execution, proficiency in managing the entire EXIM department, finalization of consignments, Pre/Post Shipment
- Export/Import documentations, Bank interactions, customs clearance, Excise & Service Tax, GST, DGFT Liaising, Export Incentive claims, Insurance and other allied functions etc. Thorough understanding of EXIM Policy, Customs & Excise/GST /FEMA rules, regulations & Compliance. Effective liaising with government and semi government authorities viz. Customs, Excise, GST, SEEPZ Development Commissioner, DGFT, Advance License, Export Promotion Councils, Banks, Insurance Company/Surveyors, Transporters, Shipping Co., Airlines, Freight Forwarders, Customs House Agents, and ECGC claims. JOB DESCIPTION- IMPORT JOB PROFILE - To Monitor and Improve Performance for Forwarders/CHA's/Transporters in line with Custom Rules, Regulations, Laws and FTP. - To ensure effective and efficient Service Levels and make Continuous Improvement by reducing cost and monitoring. - Custom Clearance of Import and Export Consignments with Proper HS CODE Classification and Documentation (AIR and SEA). - To Reduce warehousing and logistics Cost and continuously monitoring inventory. - Closely work with the Production Teams in planning monthly production & Inventory management, scheduling of Import shipments - Duty free import clearance under EOU/DEEC/EPCG schemes. - Import Clearance under DPD/DPD+CFS. - Import freight negotiations for FOB/Ex-works shipments. - Managing high seas hales Imports consignments. - Handle of Re-Import & Re-Exports consignments of rejected /defective goods. - Monitor the trading activities from Customs Bonded Warehouse. - Monitor Import/Export Letter of Credit. - Coordinate & Monitor with Transporters / Approvals of Transporters Bills. - Liaising with customs authority up to Jt. Commissioner Level. - To handle Import of second hand capital Goods. - To handle Bond to Bond Transfer of Imports goods. - To Coordinate with shipping companies/ freight negotiations/ Ex-works import shipments. - Coordinate with foreign suppliers regarding dispatch planning / documentation etc. - JOB DESCIPTION- EXPORT JOB PROFILE - Freight negotiations with various freight forwarders and shipping lines & Transporters. - Handling Exports - Pre & Post Shipment Documentations. - To Manage the entire delivery & logistics team that is responsible for vehicle management, order tracking and customer order delivery. - To Monitor self-sealing of Export Consignments. - To Handle Merchant Exports. - Updating Exports Shipment Status to Sales & Marketing Dept./Customers - Liaisons with ECGC authorities for ECGC policy and claims & settlements. - Sales and Operation Planning / Inventory monitoring. - To handle DDP Shipments / freight negotiations/ Coordinating with shipping companies / CHA - To Comply with Terms & conditions of foreign Letter of Credits for dispatch and documentations. - Liaisons with Bank - Letter of Credits Documentations / Negotiations / Remittance etc. - To Handle FCL/ LCL Exports Shipments - To Handle Hazardous Cargo Export Shipments. - To Monitor SAP transactions & Preparation of MIS Reports. - To Monitor the various types of certificate of origin including free trade from Export Inspection Agency. GST COMPLIANCE/ LOCAL TRANSPORT - To Monitor GST formalities/Taxation for factory stuffing of export cargo-self sealing. - To Monitor day to day activities of domestic dispatches. - To Monitor SAP transactions i.e. sales order / Commercial invoice / GST etc. - Coordination with Local Transporters for smooth delivery/call back shipments - Local Freight negotiations and contacts.
