**Description**:
We are a Preschool to Grade 12 school in the city of Rajkot (Gujarat) founded by Harvard alums. Our unique pedagogy, the Northstar Approach, is a research-based approach to learning and teaching that helps students achieve their highest potential by exploring and making discoveries about themselves and their world. We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Account Executive to join our team. Please go through our website to know more about us.
The role of an accountant is to examine financial statements to ensure accuracy, compliance, organizing and managing school finance. Preparing and maintaining important financial reports.
**Responsibilities**:
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in programs including MS Office, Excel, Google sheets and other accounting softwares.
- Produce termly fee invoices and respond to invoice queries.
- Receipt and reconciliation of fee payments.
- Maintain the school’s accounting records.
- Responsible for handling cash including collections and disbursements, banking and security etc.
- Able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail, prioritization skill and time management.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently and effectively to meet required deadlines.
**Qualifications**:
Need a bachelor’s degree or equivalent training, education, and experience with fluent English communication. Experience as an accountant for a minimum of 1 year, preferably in an educational institute. Also needs to know the basic framework and duties of an accountant and should be able to support the organization.
