**Responsibilities**:

- Perform accounting functions, including journal ledger, general accounting, bank reconciliation, cash reconciliation, posting, ledger scrutiny, and employee's ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain voucher files and ensure proper documentation.
- File and process TDS and GST returns and payments.
- Maintain personal books of directors.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Coordinate with banks and auditors for internal and statutory audits.
- Review trial balance and profit and loss account.
- Perform vendor reconciliation and generate Form 16.
- Assist in the finalization of the balance sheet of group companies.
- Conduct data entry and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

**Core Competencies**:

- Prepare and maintain statutory books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
- Handle various forms, returns, and filings required under different statutes.
- Ensure adherence to tax laws and prepare tax returns and forms.
- Proficient in TDS, GST, and other relevant tax requirements.
- Expertise in Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of accounting experience.
- Expertise with ZohoBooks or similar accounting software.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, CA certification, CA Inter, M.Com, or B.Com.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
- Additional experience in audit is a plus.
- Experience with SaaS companies is desirable.

**Must-Have Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

**Should-Have Skills**:

- Experience in conducting audits.
- Familiarity with SaaS business models and accounting practices in the industry.
- Knowledge of international accounting standards.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience with other accounting software and tools.
- Familiarity with financial analysis and reporting.
