As a Fashion Designer cum Merchant, you will play a pivotal role in our company's success by combining your creative design skills with your business acumen. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing fashion products while also taking charge of their distribution and sales. This role will be a dynamic and challenging blend of creativity and commerce.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Design & Development**:Create innovative and on-trend fashion designs, taking into consideration market trends and customer preferences.
Oversee the product development process from concept to final product, including sourcing materials, managing prototypes, and refining designs.

**Merchandising**:Identify target markets and demographics for our fashion products.
Develop pricing and sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to ensure timely production and distribution.

**Sales & Marketing**:Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote fashion products.
Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Build and maintain relationships with retailers and wholesalers to expand the distribution network.

**Quality Control**:Ensure that products meet high-quality standards and are free from defects.
Address and resolve any issues related to product quality and customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a fashion designer with a strong portfolio of designs.
- Understanding of market trends and customer preferences.
- Business acumen and merchandising skills, including pricing and distribution.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in relevant design software and tools.
- Knowledge of sourcing materials and working with manufacturers.
- Familiarity with the fashion industry and supply chain.
