Conceptualizing Designs - The primary responsibility of a jewellery designer is to conceptualize and develop original jewellery designs. This involves drawing inspiration from various sources such as nature, art, culture, and fashion trends.
- Sketching and Rendering - jewellery designers often create sketches, renderings, or digital models of their designs to communicate their vision to clients, manufacturers, or artisans. These sketches serve as the blueprint for the production process.
- Technical Designing - jewellery designers need to have a solid understanding of jewellery -making techniques and manufacturing processes. They must ensure that their designs are technically feasible and can be executed by craftsmen or production facilities.
- CAD Designing - Many modern jewellery designers use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed 3D models of their designs. Proficiency in CAD software allows designers to visualize their concepts more accurately and efficiently.
- Quality Control - jewellery designers are responsible for maintaining high standards of quality in their designs. They may conduct quality control checks during the production process to ensure that the finished pieces meet their specifications and expectations.
- Sustainability and Ethical Practices - With increasing awareness about sustainability and ethical issues in the jewellery industry, designers may be responsible for integrating sustainable practices into their design process, sourcing materials responsibly, and supporting ethical production methods.

**Requirements**:

- He or she must have a relevant UG or PG degree in Designing
- Has an ability to adapt to changes in market interests
- Possesses keen understanding of the fashions that are acceptable and even expected for different types of events

**Salary**: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
