Job Purpose:
Performs projects of low complexity and assists more senior colleagues in more complex projects by 1) being involved in the acquisition, analysis, and interpretation of complete and high-quality geological data, the appropriate QC, the compilation of accurate and customized results reports and other deliverables and, 2) following established procedures. Works under supervision of more senior colleagues. Requires a college or university degree. Continues to develop geological knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist Site Management of onshore activities, including data acquisition, borehole logging, and in-situ field testing.
- All data will be transferred to HO for the report to be prepared.
- Reporting of Daily Progress Report to HO.
- Holding Tool Box Talk daily and monitoring HSE performance and strict observance.
- Purchase of site requirements, regular coordination with Site Manager, PM, and SLM.
- Fund management, sending site accounts to HO to liaise with clients.
- Preparation of site cash account and sending it to the HO for approval every week or fortnightly.
- Completing all requirements, both technical and statutory for site closure.

HSE Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPE’s Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so.
