**Job Title: Drama Teacher**

**Location**: ICSE School based in Shilaj area, Ahmedabad

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive drama curriculum aligned with educational standards and school objectives.
- Plan and conduct engaging drama classes that cater to students' diverse learning needs and interests.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity and express themselves confidently.
- Teach fundamental acting techniques, improvisation, script analysis, and other relevant theater skills.
- Organize and oversee rehearsals for school productions, guiding students in their roles and ensuring the successful execution of performances.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate drama into interdisciplinary projects and activities.
- Assess student progress through various forms of evaluation, including performances, projects, and written assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their acting abilities and overall theatrical skills.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student progress, upcoming events, and opportunities for involvement in drama activities.
- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in drama education, incorporating innovative teaching methods and resources into instructional strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Drama, Theater Education, Performing Arts, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Previous experience teaching drama at the primary or secondary level.
- Demonstrated proficiency in acting, directing, and theatrical production.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Passion for fostering creativity, self-expression, and confidence in students through drama education.
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
